The Campaign for the Parish Hall
“The Lord is the portion of my inheritance.” Psalm 15:5
St. Benedict’s Parish has experienced significant growth from 111 registered families in 2008 to just over 400 registered families in 2023.* Additionally, the completion of the new church in 2011 brought an increase in children enrolled in CCD classes. With more families there came a greater desire for various devotions, increased events and new ministries such as the Legion of Mary and our St. Vincent de Paul Conference. It wasn’t long before additional Holy Masses were added and a third priest joined the ranks.
*This does not include non-registered families who attend weekly. This really puts the number of families to near 450.
God has certainly blessed our parish. With an increase of faithful comes a demand for greater devotions to deepen faith, and more services to assist our parishioners with temporal and social needs. No doubt we need real classrooms and meeting spaces, and a full-size banquet hall for parish feasts, wedding receptions, funerals, fundraisers, etc.
Construction will soon begin on a beautiful 22,000 sq ft building. At this important moment of our Parish history, let us keep in mind the many blessings the Lord has given us. Our efforts and support earn eternal rewards, and our Church is vastly strengthened.
This campaign seeks sacrifical one to three year pledges from donors. Gifts may be presented in a variety of forms. All gifts are tax deductible to fullest extent permitted by law.
